my friend has just aquired some 15" alloys for her corsa, its a 1.4 8V merit (i think) and it could do with lowering, what would the best height be to lower a little on just springs alone without having to uprate the standard shocks?

Please advise.

i had mine 50mm on my last corsa. was really fine until you hit some back roads. any lower than 40 i would say needs uprated shocks.

She's a student and can't afford to get a kit you see - what would you recommend?
