As from tomorrow the corsa and my van are going .

so need a new motor but cant really think what to get.

needs to be half decent on fuel

wouldnt mind leather

bit sporty

and nothing over insurance group 10

i do 2-3k miles a month

got 5k to spend.

been thinking of

Corsa 1.4 timeport with full leather

106 gti

Astra 1.6 sxi

or saving more and get a 172

2.2 astra would use too much petrol , i do too many miles.

yeh the golf tdi would propably be ok but it would be bottom spec wouldnt it for 5k.

i dont want to fork out loads in insurance so dont really want to go above 10

Exactly a replacement, not the same car 10 years down the line with a bodykit

neither is the ZR in 1995 look at what a rover 200 looked like!
then in 2005 look what a new ZR looked like!

they look nothing like each other!
the same as the nova and the corsa!

the 25 replaced the 200 bubble, the 200 bubble replaced the boxy 200 so therefore direct replacement not just added a bodykit!

that style ZR came out in 2004 look at a 1994 rover and i think you'll find there completely different!
like a 1992 nova and a 2002 corsa!!!

year 2006 now minus 10 years = 1996 which = 10 year old car possibly 11 year old if they came out in 1995
