Moral of the story:

Don't speed when you've not got all your documents to produce.

Nah. Hard lines mate sure you'll sort it.

if it was a camera:

you have to be doing 10%mph + 2mph to get flashed, meaning 35 in a 30mph. However, if you take THEM to court, you will get away with it as they probably wont/cant produce the calibration certificate etc

If its a car marked or unmarked:

They can only pull you over and FINE/PROSECUTE you if your doing 10mph over the limit.

10 - 25mph over = 3 points
25mph over+ = 6 points
100mph over = ban (but can usually get away in court, if not mitigating circumstances then fighting on a technicality)

you dont have to take them to court to see the calibration certificate, if i ever get done, thats the first thing il ask to look at (if it was by a camera)

im sure you will be fine, the dvla will have proof that you have a drivin licence, so i say go to the tw*t of a coppa and say G T F MOFO!!!!!

twiggy they can summons you to court for failing to produce the full liscnece, but its not like you dont have one at all, so its just a waste of time and nothing will come of it.

i got read my rights because i didn't produce insurance docs.
had it all but could only find the initial cover note.
got insurance to send a new copy of certificate and showed it two weeks later and that was it.
you wont need to go to court if the license comes through in the next few weeks.
they just try and shit you up a bit so you get it sorted quickly.

I went without my counterpart and they just said come back when you have it. Went back after I got a new one (£14 ) and they were fine, even though it was well past the period they'd given me to produce.

Even if you go to court, as long as you have you paper counter part by then just take it there and you will be fine.
BTW dont listen to ppl who always say shit bout calibration because ALL police radar guns are ALWAYS calibrated and will ALWAYS have a sticker on them certifying this, (this is in bedfordshire but i presume is same everywhere),
Also i duno if you got a ticket or not but if you did get an endorsable (3pts) ticket then it will be on it the calibration of the radar gun and the date anyway

If you go tyo court for "No licence" then you wont get done as you do have one, just not the documentation to produce

However, you CAN be done for "Failing to produce driving Licence" which will probs result in a £150 fine (inc costs).
