Pros and Cons? anybody have one? i was talking to a guy in tesco last night with a Astra MK3 GSI turbo, he said it revs better but round corners the revs tend to drop quick.
Any help would be great

The engine revs will pick up as the engine requires less effort to increase the revs, on the straight they will help with acceleration but on a hill you will lose power due to there not being the mass in the fly wheel to store energy.
You will notice it in 1st and 2nd and it will become less noticable as you go through the gears. by 4th gear ya wouldnt notice the advantage.
So essentially i suppose you will lose tourqe but acceleration will increase on the flat. When you rev the engine the revs will drop very quickly because the inertia in the fly is lessened but it will sound cool haha, quick shift and double clutching time, lol

I had a 5kg fidanza flywheel on my old vectra V6, the standard is 15kg!!
It totally transformed the driveability of the car and it rev'd sooo much quicker and improved acceleration massively.
I never had a problem or noticed the revs dropping around corners?! or going up hills!!

Tourqe would never be a problem on a V6 but on an engine like the 1.6 C + X16XE's which are relatively low tourqe it would make a difference up hill not massive but noticable

Ive put the fly wheel from a 1.2 8v on a 1.6 cheap way of doing it but I not sure if the 1.2 clutch can cope

Going up a hill and slowing down has nothing to do with loosing torque, how does a flywheel affect how the cylinder fill with air?
It just makes the engine more susepable to chanignes in rev more rapidly, so up a hill it will slow down more rapidly asn there's less momentum, but will equailly accelerate faster when you apply throttle.

P.s Get one
