what sort of power do these make standard? and what sort of power can be gained from them witout bigger or replacment turbo?

im thinking closer to 130, like the punto GT? has anybody got either of these cars? not forgetting what they had from new prob aint the power they have now

sri -they are reliable if u look afetr them, most dicks jst shoe the boost up ona standard turbo which obviouslly makes them go bang. but if u uprate everythin they are great little cars. doesnt cost much at all to get em over 200bhp and theyr fuckin rapid

hard pressed to find a standard... none abused one though, buy and plan for a rebuild would be a sound idea

agreed and thats the reason il never buy one, u never know if ur buyina sh1tter or not, but most prob will end up doing. best of buyin one as cheap as poss and basically rebuild the whole engine and being french its fairly cheap

Everybody moans about the head gaskets popping.


If you leave it standard and don't fuck with the boost you will have no problems at all

Sound little cars and any R5GTT still running these days has had to have had a certain level of looking after so I wouldn't worry too much.

Would definately recommend looking out for an un-modded one.
