Hsa any-one got any experience of claiming compensation after having an accident at work?

My G/F slipped at work and burnt all her forearm on a 200 degree's oven because the department wasn't clean - i just want to know if some of the claims companies are better than others or if it would be worth doing it yourself?

Cheers, Dave

Then she must be accident prone

anything on the floor, bleach, oil? Notice there saying there was a spillage if she slipped on somthing covering the floor that had not been cleaned up?

She slipped on Grease on the floor - shouldn't have been there. It went in the accident book and she had to go to A&E to get it seen too.

The staff on the department are meant to keep the floor mopped but they're stupidly understaffed

Is it her responsibility to keep floor clean?

Call a no win no fee place for advice
