remember this about the last rc nitro thing which was done via a magazine

some of the components never all came & they worked it all out at costing near £600 or so for a car worth little over £100

dont do it if you buy the hpi ones from halfords the go faster and cost less and parts are easy to come by

tbh I wouldnt even bother with ones from hal;fords, I'd rather build my own from a kit, which is what I have planned for 2006

think it 21 issues 20@5.99 1@50p = £120.30 nearly £100 for the motor and the same again for the radio gear

the car on mag will cost near enough £600 if i remember correctly it says in bottom right corner 100 issues @ £5.99

it works out @ just over £560 then you need a controler and some other stuff.

Car is worth about 200 quid

yeah i worked it out last night what a rip off! imagine the type of r/c car you could get for that type of money if you paid outright?!

i think these mags will be aimed more at the kids market in the hope that they will go and pester the hell out their parents and they end up shelling out the £560

I have a carson in stock with all the radio gear, failsafe, with a 23cc petrol engine for £599.....is tasty bit of kit i tell yee.

my rock hopper got run over when i was about 12 years old. no matter how fast they go r/c cars are for little kids not big kids imo.
