155 seems a bit to high for the mods youve done mate, you'd need a set of cams and a good unichip. high 140's I would imagine

yeh I only just read his list of mods.

No way you'd get 155 without cams.

Your point? he has 8 bhp more than you supposedly and can do the 1/4 mile over 1 and a half secs quicker than you. I know it wasn't dry when you went down the 1/4 mile, but I just don't think you should claim to have power when you haven't had it Rolling roaded. I'd estimate with your mods around 145 bhp?

well like i say i never had it on the rollers but i could keep up with a mate that had 153bhp and he had cams and chip. dont understand why my 106 was just as quick.

upload your video to http://www.putfile.com/ I can't see it on the link you posted. and I want to see it

Leo, some 106 gti's made more power than others standard. I've seen some make only 120 bhp standard, I've seen some make 130 bhp + (P.s. this is not related to prongs) ... it's usually related to how well the engine matches the original mapping. In the end though, when they've all been cam'd and remapped they all end up around the same.

You may be lucky and have a quick one standard.

Now upload the vid
