OK, i've just been told by mates im very silly for putting RCA and 12v cables under my car for amps.

Will they be ok though? Theres no bare ends exposed and the cables look durable?

cos hes lazy and cnt be arsed putting them under his door sills and tht

They should be inside, why did you put them under the car, are the amps also under the car?

no just the cables...there perfectly secure and sealed at either end

only thing is the cables are cabletied onto the brake lines which are kwown to get quite hot...

should be ok, ought to re-route anyway

cos its a Mazda 323F and the insides a bastard to pull apart

been told i cudda just took the seat out and done it under carpet tho...

do it properly or dont do it at all. thats just stupid even thinking of sticking cables under the car what if u have a smash and something shorts?

A lot of competition cars do it with the power cables to be very sure there will be no interference with the audio siganls. As long as they are protected there is no problem, just fues it at both ends. Personally i would route some pipe like an exhaust from the engine bay into the boot, wrap the cable in something and thread it through. On an everyday car its not really worth it unles you are running 0guage and theres no room.

If you attatch the cable to you brake lines or fuel lines your car may fail it's MOT depending on who tests it.

i reckon the fuel lines stand more chance of splitting and thats not happened to me yet

why the need to ask? y not jst take up ur door sills or carpet and put the wires thru that, i dnt care what others r sayin about it being outsie, its not as safe as it is inside ur car

Japanese cars are held together with staries and bluetack.
I doubt its hard to take trim off.
