has anyone done this to there car. i am away to buy my car back of my insurance if it is a write off. i can replace the front panels for pennys and get it sprayed cheap aswell.

i was wondering if it would cost a load to get the chassis jigged as one of the legs are bent. i am also planning on putting a 2 litre in it when i re build it and wasnt to sure how bad the handiling would be.

any feed back would be great.

years ago i bought an astra that someone had handbraked into a kerb

had it jigged and was straight as a die cosmetically but for some reason always wore tyres funny on that leg after.

didnt cost much over £100 but was a friend of a friend

i would maybe take pics to someone before making your decision and get some quotes and advice

well i think they are going to give me about £2500 back for the car. so i can spend all of that on getting it back to its orignal condition.

Or use it to buy a new one and transfer it all across. Mine's been jigged, is perfectly straight and drives fine, but just has about 2 degrees negative camber up front now. Goes round corners well but eats tyres.
