I clocked in 5 mins early today then got changed up stairs and started work on time, one manager saw me and told me to go and speak to the duty manager cos the pussy couldnt tell me himself, duty manager said she would deduct 15 mins pay cos i didnt start as i clock in, i said if your going to do that I may aswell leave early, and she said no, your leaving when your supposed to, i said give me my pay and il work over, and she made me come and see her at the end of the shift. Surely they cant get away with deducting my pay and making me work it?

i'd go see the big boss, cos surely you should start at the time your contracted to. and if you've clocked in 5 mins early they will be able to see your not skiving off 15 mins

yeah man, you are only paid from the contracted working hours, dont matter what time you clock in. i always clock in half hour early at work (when i go) as i like to enjoy the 10p hot chocolate out the machine and read my newspaper.
