Well im now one of them super annoying people that post on here asking what car to consider next! When its not a corsa!

I have about 7.5k to spend and my choices are

Astra Coupe Turbo - with leather, 200 bhp
Audi A3 1.8T sport - with leather, 210 bhp after chip

looked at others like st170 but there the only 2 i really like!

Opinions on both cars please everyone and if you seen a nice example for sale locally etc then please let me know!

Cheers Brad

thats my very maximum limit is 7.5k, so i would be looking at 6800 for an audi then chip etc as i would get bored of the power very very quickly!!

i prefer the look of the coupe in my opinion and i can still keep my vaux roots! Plus the a3 interior is really poor compared to the astra

Out of those two I'd have the Astra.

However personally I'd buy an ITR

Brad, I know what you mean about trying to find Astra Coupe Turbos, when I was looking there was just none in decent condition for a decent price.

Someone very close to me ( ) is just closing a deal for a Astra GSi Turbo in Arden blue, I am jealous but at least I get to drive

No for that money you'll either get an early really high miler or a dog rough one that you wouldn't want to purchase.

Anyway I would go for the A3.

Trust me after owning an Astra Coupe, the Coupe just doesn't compare.

The drive of the Audi is so nice, and the build is spot on.

Also it will keep its money better then the Vaux and others.

Not sure what sort of price they are going for at the minute as I've not looked recently, but for £6800 you should get a 01+ car (That's the year they were facelifted) with decent mileage. Not sure about the leather though as that's hard to get hold of.

What S3 or A3?

As the S3 is 4wd, but the A3 TQ is also 4wd. Where as the A3 T is FWD.
