yeah won two games and came second in another 
i bought £10 worth of chips which came to about $17
now i have $100+

he won't say plus it varies alot from month to month
when he plays poker with us he is usually up on the night and has even paid for his part of takeaway with his winnings
we have proper poker chip set and play for £20 buy in
blinds don't increase during the night just keep it simple

I'm playing a Party Poker Tournement at the moment. $6 buy in, Winner takes $535. I doubt I will win though.

I used to play poker all the time online.
Started off shit. Then one day had real luck... went from $50 to $290! then took it onto the big boys table and got to $410 in no time. However, the big boys table soon learnt what I was doing and on trying to out bluff someone I lost about $200 
Cashed out $210 and walked away
A mate of mine saw me do this and tried to copy he lost about $300
