You will get the cash, send item off and in a few weeks get a letter from your bank asking for the cash back - they use stolen cheques which clear before it's relised they are stolen. Avoid anything from Nigeria like the plague.

I sold sum stuff on ebay... went for £180 sent money thru paypal and my goods went to him...

Day later payments aretaken from my paypal and i get a paypal message saying:

"It has come to our attention that you may have recieved potentially unauthorised funds in your PayPal account. We have initiated an investigation into this event. In the meantime, we have placed a temporary hold on the funds in question until the investigation is complete. This temporary hold will show as a deduction in your available balance. In the meantime, you are free to continue transacting using your PayPal account."

Paypal say their looking into it but i searched for more on google and its happening like fuck! Also paypal don't give a toss...

I duno how the uk they did it but certainly scammed me I contacted the guy about it aswell... gave me sum bullshit and stopped replying.

I had the same situation.
There dones't seem to be any comeback unless its covered by their protection thing.
I cancelled my direct debit so they coudln't take any money off me.
