2" is too small for the XE, 2.25 is best.

standard yes, why would you spend a load of cash on a engine conversion then restrict it with a standard exhaust?

just saying that 2' is std bore, and for a std engine its more than adequte.

anything less than 2' really really isnt a good thing to have

i had a 2" system on mine for a bit, piper one for a 1.6 16v sprort, made 150bhp on rr. which is fine. changed it for a 2.25" custom one and made 161 iirc.

think i worded my first statement wrong, i'll try again.

personally i wouldnt bother with a 2" sytem, if i was going through the ball ache of bodging an exhaust to fit, id replace it all with a 2.25" system.

2' does up to 180, 2.25 up to 210 and for over that 2/5 they say on mig

random, 2' was all local powerflow would make for my corsa, said any bigger wasnt needed. they said the same when i took the turbo corsa there, needless to say, me mate made the exhaust for the turbo for £17 out of 2.5 inch pipe. so yes, i fully agree with what you say
