The boyfriend has been charged with murder but the mother of the baby hasn't, shes been charged with an offence which means she knew the baby was being abused.
Apparantly the baby was covered in deep bruises, had a broken shin, a split bowl and a split liver if i remember. It was said that an internal organ had burst/split because a blow to the body caused it to compress against the spine, causing the rupture/split.
Both got remanded. Poor kid.

The mother was at work until 10.30pm or something and an expert doctor said the death from the internal injuries would've took 1-2 hours to progress... so it's been established that the injuries happended whilst the baby was in the care of the boyfriend.

The lad didn't apply for bail but when the magistrates were out considering whether to remand or bail the girl i was sat outside the court in the anti room with the lad... he gave me the sob story, crying etc saying he'd never harm the baby - the prosecution have got lots of expert medical evidence though.

His soilicitor told him to tell people in the prison that he's in for robbery or similar because people obviously dont take kindly to baby killers - stupid advice because prisoners always find out. Thats what the nonces wing is for.

Obviously i speak to them, but depending on what the case is or what they tell me depends on what kind of reply they get from me - i have to deal with all sorts of people.

I fukcing hate this sort of thing
a bloke tried to kill my girlf last year...had her tied up for three days whilst he beat the fcuk out of her. When they serached the house they found 3000+ harcore kiddy porn stuff
the result? he pleaded guilty to five assaults on her and got 15 months
the porn? he blamed her, and cos they couldnt prove who downloaded it he walked
he served ten months in total....and was knocking on her door within 48 hours of getting out..
