I'd rather have a car that was just as quick but factory built

They can't get traction..and lets face it they don't even handle well with 65 brake let alone 250! and unless the conversion was done by a pro and the engine is rebuilt it will brake down at some point.

if i floor mine and keep it planted, no backing off from the green light on 1/4 mile it spins through first then about 3/4 of 3nd but gets grip then all of 3rd, 4th and 5th etc is jst pure power

if i floor it in say 3rd from like 30ish mph say racing another car, then it grips and goes like nothing else

u cant exactly go replacing air flows, looms etc for new ones thou can u? would cost a bomb and they are more likely to cause a breakdown etc

Everything has been replaced on mine pritty much now. I'd call it a reliable car.

My engine = closer to 200k than 150k, still going strong, chucking 20psi plus though it. Revs higher than standard. Gets hard driving. OK it would perfrom better if it was newer.

Mates scoob engine = Gets hard driving. Revs to standard. 70k.... cranks gone last week.

Tough choice LOL

If you get an XE and you never drive a LET you will be happy. Then the same can be said standard LET vs modded... then Phase 4 vs Phase 3.5.

I've driven an XE running the TP270 kit and it doesn't have the kick of torque of mine. Even though it is brutally quick!

To be honest i was think go for c20xe, then if i want more power, go for throttle bodies as i will already have the XE fitted and runnin. That seems that the best option to me tbh

i actually prefer the xe over the let to be honest. i've driven stevew's plenty of times and i prefer my XE .. however i would trade everything to get my old calibra turbo back..

I wood go for a let 1st if I did it again
Got the XE, 4 weeks later I am board of it…
I am going let because like all other people that go up ship hill (Rotherham) I am mad.
The way I look at it is if I hit a wall I wood rather hit it at 300bhp speeds and mangle my body in ways unseen rather than hitting a wall @ 150bhp speeds and live for the rest of my life with brain damage.
FFS I am MAD LOL not put you off have i…….
