where does everyone dispose of oil? If i carry out a service and dont know where to take the oil it will stay at the end of my drive for years.

set light to it in ya garden, keeps burning for a while, and can be put out with shaving foam.

normally throw some sawdust among it and burn it in the bonfire

all very good ideas. I like the sawdust one but bonfires are few and far between at jakethesnake residence.

Take it to the dump. Most oil drainers carry about 12 litres anyway, so you'll get a few years worth before you actually need to take it to the dump anyway

Most tips will take it off you. Don't dump or burn it.

It's just a drain can, they are just big jerry can type things with a drain tray built into them. They tip will take it for 'free'. They are funded by the council so technically you are already paying for the service.
