.... well as you may remember my rev counter broke, well yesterday night it had some kid of fit then started to work again, bonus!
so today i decided to make the shift light pod and mount it on the top of the stearing shroud, so off to maplin to get a little box, 5 leds and some random other bits and bobs...
drilled the box and mounted the leds:

wired all the +'ve together and covered them in tape(nice and tidy lol):

the control module switches the fly leads to negative so i wired some wire to the -'ve off the leds:

then i put some tape round the wires and placed it on the dash:

excuse the fact i actually taped it down, need to get some double sided sticky pads to hold it on properly.
looks pretty funky and works very well considering the total cost was £19 for the base unit and the remote led cluster!
anyway, use this space to voice your opinions!

Nice and simple
I think your car would suit a flocked rally wheel though...

5chaap2k, i got it off someone called "dom" from Migweb, he makes them
Siberia, no the green/yellow leds come on at 3k, 5k, 6k and the two red at 7k, ill change it when i get chance, could set it up exactly as revving my car outside the house bugs the neighbours, you rev the engine to half the desired rpm then press a button... cool
