we had a grass snake make a nest on dads engine!
we went away on holiday for 2 weeks and the car was parked at the back of the farm house near the pond.
he came home and went to check oil and water and there was a grass snake and 3 babies ontop of the engine

As long as it's out the engine bay, i'm happy! And killin a mouse aint as if i'm killin an endangered animal to be fair!

so it's ok to kill so long as it is not endangered
use a non-killing trap then release into the wild
