The only thing that is wrong with the 1.2 16v Corsa is the crankshaft position sensor. They are held on with one bolt but I don't have the facilities to replace it here.. I have had to pay the garage to repair it for me, oh well, was due an MOT too so it was in there anyway

So I was right when I said in the thread the other day it was the crankshaft sensor

cost me a little over £100 to have the tech2, then cost of part and fitting...

i can imagine ed alot of garages nowadays charge 1 hour minimum labour. so you end up paying alot of money for something that takes them 5 minutes

Yea the Tech II is about £50, the part is going to be a few bob then an hours labour (which is about £40) so over £100... Shame
