whats your car, history, and what happened to it?
fiat panda 750cc with 1000c carb and cherry bomb > blew gearbox and
failed mot on rust, part ex'd it
vaux corsa 1.48v > converted to 1.6 16v > sold it 
metro 1.1 drove twice > killed it, sold it
1.8 ford mondeo > broke rear engine stay, gearbox and clutch part ex'd it
318 bmw > blew rear main oil seal, part ex'd it
vaux cav 1.8, blew engine to bits, scrapped it
golf gti 1.8 16v > stripped it sold it
red fezzie 1.1 converted to 1.6 xr2 engine, sold it
nissan s12 1.8 turbo, started to restore it, vectra crashed into the back, wrote it off
vaux corsa white1.2 >stripped it now undergoing re-build
audi 80 2.0, died 2 days ago engine failure
vaux corsa green/blue 1.4 rebuilding engine and its sold
vaux corsa red was 2.0 now a 1.2 and will be for sale

Let's see...
Mk1 Golf 1.5 8v - had more filler than metal on the bodywork
Mk3 Astra 1.6 8v - was OK, didn't really break
Corsa 1.2 16v - was about as reliable as a TVR but not as fast lamentably
Mk2 Golf 1.6 8v - complete shitheap
Mk3 Astra 1.4 8v - was OK but needed new piston rings
Mk3 Astra 1.4 16v - current vehicle, spent more on it than I paid for it so far! 
I don't seem to have much luck with cars.

Escort Estate - First Car £150 traded in for £500 when got Corsa. (used as run about for ages)
Renault 5 Turbo - Minter 33k miles, blow the head gasket, stripped it to make a track car but sold it to a mate for what i paied for it
Renault 5 Turbo 2 (GrpB) - Got very very cheap and sold for very high
Corsa (Bucket) - 2lt 16v on Carbs sold to fund new projects
Cavailer V6 - Got for £500 off EBay and stripped it for bit
Golf Mk1 Cab - Got for cheap as been in storage cleaned it up put it threw a MOT and sold it on made some money.
Corsa - V6 shes not going anywhere 
Fiat Chiq 900cc - My new everyday run about (104mile on £6 nuff said)

Got my corsa bought for me just before sold 306, prefered the corsa to the 306 weird i prefered a 1.2 8v to a 1.9 Td, oh well

i had a mini 998 city as my first car spent loads on it had full respray etc then sold it for a lot of money,
then another mini which was a bit of a shed and i couldnt bring myself to spend what it needed so sold it straght away,
then a corsa 1.4 8v 5dr boring as u like but what a car starts everytime heater is imense. kinda puts my minis to shame and is my current car,
i want to get a gsi corsa early nxt year if i can insure 1

First car was a 1.2 8v Nova Merit... killed it
second car was a corsa 1.4 8v LS... someone drove into the side of it and wrote it off
third car... ford fiesta 1.25 16v zetec - sold it on Saturday for alot less than I paid for it... did get lots of use though
fourth car... Astra GTE 16v... got thrashed for 25,000 miles in my ownership... sold it and miss it !
fifth and current car... Celica GT4 - loving it!

Clio mk1 1.9 diesel - ragged it for a year
Punto mk1 sporting 16v - part ex'd with a mate to afford holiday and insurance was killing me (was a proper minter)
Clio mk1 1.2 8v - this and £2k for the sporting, was still a fun car after i'd finished 
Now - nothing sold up for uni might get a cheap 1.2 corsa next year,slam on some 15s

corsa 1.2 8v merit RED
Changed engine for 1.6 16v with manztel(c16xe)
fk coilovers then koni yellows
v6 then reyland then tigra 1.4 and now calibra 2.0 brakes
now have a c20xe to go in but am questioning my sanity

Bought it then realised there is a big fcking hole in a place there shouldnt be a big fcukiing hole in
so back to the corsa for now...

bought as a mint 1.4 sport, low milage.
broke it after 30,000miles with it mildly tuned
fitted a 1.6 16v tuned it to 140bhp
got bored, then bp broke it so rebuild it to current spec with 181bhp

and thousands of pounds this year it still isnt on the road
