About a month ago, a mate from work had his VRS stolen from his house, keys were removed from inside his house via the cat flap.

he got a phone call yesterday to say that his car had been found, it was in barnsley.

asking where it was found etc, they told him it had been used in a bank robbery, and that the theif had opened up a cash box in the car, only for the red dye to go everywhere.

the cars gonna need a full interior i would think, as this dye is gonna have gone every where.

what ya reckon chances of it being a write off will be ?

i would imagin it will need everything, from dash to seats and even air con system as the mist would have got into that i think?

every plastic pannel will need replacing as the mist would have covered it all.

o yea, if u see a red man walkin around barnsley, it could have been him

Would have thought police would impound it for forensic tests if its been used in a bank robbery, therefore insurance will pay out for new one as they will rip it apart for clues.

Could be wrong tho.

Cant see a VRS interior being cheap imo.

I wouldnt want it back either, lets hope they write it off. could do quite well if they let you buy the wreck, will be piss easy to shift the parts.

if it has been more than 28 days then the insruance company should payout for the car because it hadnt been found within a month.
