On a more serious note alot of the warehouses around the area run nightshifts including mine.
Let alone people working nights at that particular depot

I should have been there, but they wanted 2 volunteers to go home & I went! My dad also works round the corner & he's been told not to even bother going into work this morning

i really wanna know whats caused it

all these people saying they heard rumblings before the explosion worries ya dont it?

Surely it'll be ages before they determine the real reason for the explosion? You can still see flames through the smoke

yeah, wonder how many of them circles were containers with oil or petrol in???

could be any number of explosions left. suprised it didnt wipe the whole area out in one go

My works about 1/2 mile from it. I would just imagine visual damage, but they surely would have to check building structures?
As its by the M1 thats where all our lorries that bring & take stock from the depot need to go so we have no stock getting to us.
