In all my wisdom, I've just gone out and bought a pair of these as they were the most expensive I could afford without finding out if they were any good.. So I've heard a few dodgy things about em and am due to get them fitted on the 19th, so just wondering

1 if these things are going to sound any good running off my Alpine cda-947, to be honest I like the sound of my standard C speakers with this at the mo so I might be easily impressed. (Apart from the lack of bass)

2 Just a small thing, if I buy the 17cm speaker adaptors from CarAudioDirect then will they fit?.. seeing as they say they're 16.5cm.

Not 100% but they should fit 17cm adapters..... if the little screw lugs are long enough... i had this same thing on my corsa B and it worked with them!

Should be easily pleased with the quality of Infinity speakers over standard mate.

Well worth the money IMO

yes they will fit,
will be a bit tight with the big 64mm~ magnet depth. but it will fit with the adaptors.

yup, for what you pay for the infinity comps are worthwhile.
