I'd get the Audi now, not much different from the others you have listed and you dn't have to wait a year.

Difference being 25bhp(from a3 1.8t) and around 50 max in other case, also the a3 1.8 20V is not as tuneable.

Yes but they are good engines, it all depends on what shape you prefer.

I know the Audi''s seem to be cheaper, the golfs and ibizas are about the same.

Sell up now. The extra power comfort will be more than enough compared to the shite you're used to at the minute..

This is my advise too after finally getting rid of my corsa for something faster. Its so much nicer to drive something that actually goes somewhere when you put your foot down.

wait a year...look how quickly this year has gone...insurance should be better then being a year older and another years no claims and you will allways be thinking what if i had waited etc etc

paitence is a virtue

others say patience is what doctors have (as in patients....geddit? )

Depends on your circumstances

i waited 3 years until getting my current car

Drove round in 1.2 8v before that

If you have to get one get the audi - I currently have an audi and its such a nice car
