the x14xe is as tunable as the x16xe, but will always be down on bhp and torque, best swapping to the x16xe IMO, myself and robin did the x14xe to x16xe conversion on his car, its cheaper than you think! and not hard at all

the difference between my X14 and my X16 is amazing

the X14 was making 116bhp and 96lb/ft
the X16 is making 130bhp and 123lb/ft

the main change i have noticed though, is that its more responsive, and feels much better throughout the revs

well worth the money, it only cost me about 600 quid including the engine and all the gaskets anyway

plus the tuning buts from the 1.4....

you'd get better results for 600 quid by swapping the engine over than you would by just tuning the 1.4, but obviously the 1.4 would be cheaper to insure

that 600 included sbd idlers, full gasket and head bolt set, new cam belt kit, and an engine mount.....
