his interview after went something like:

commentater: there was some speculation over the 1st goal, are you claiming it?

crouch: i cant believe your asking, of course it was my goal.

i see in the paper the goal was awarded to pollet, which makes me think "owned" hense the drawing.

stop trying to defend him, he's crap. and he has a constant facial expression like the one Dr. Hannibal Lecter pulled right after he said "...and i ate his liver"

it hasnt even been confirmed as an own goal yet

The dubious goals panel sit this morning and decide, it should be given to him, but regardless this is the start of good things for him. He has been playing excellently, and now with a bit of confidence he'll get better and better.

because judging by your comments you either havent seen him play enough or you have no clue what football is!?!

He has been absolutly excellent in the last 10 games or so. He is one of the reasons Liverpools for has been so high lately. Granted he hadnt scored up until Sat but his all round work was top notch.

well obviously i havent seen him play enough.

makes me laugh that the people who haven't played at any level before seem to be the biggest experts on the game

Makes me laugh that because you have played football you know everything abou tit Years of watching football gives me enough knowledge to comment on how teams and player in particular are performing it's not rocket science. It's no coincidence our form of late is excellent and he's been in the team. And I love the fact you haven't been watching him makes you more qualified to comment than us

out of interest what level have you played at?

I hope that isnt directed at me...as I count playing for my county until 17 (when county teams stop) and also being on a number of teams books between 10 and 16 being a fairly high level.

And no, you havent seen him play enough obviously.

EDIT- Will also add that Ive been a season ticket holder with Liverpool for nearly 15yrs now so have watched a few games to know what Im on about!

As above again though, I'd suggest that the 60k people who sit their and watch them every week don't all have international caps and may have something to say about your criteria of being a fan
