My options for new cars has been all over the place recently, not knowing what I want, how much I want to spend etc etc but I had pretty much decided on the Seat yesturday, however someone showed my a few pics of the Skoda Fabia this morning, and with it being exactly the same chassis and engine, it got me thinking.
I want the 130bhp version of the car if possible, which would mean an older (2002 ish IIRC) Ibiza Sport OR a newer (05 ish) Ibiza FD (Mental Insurance tho) but im not sure on the heirarchy of the Skodas.
Im a bit of a snobby cunt when it comes to the brand names tho so im a bit hessitant to go with the Skoda even tho i know theyre a damn good brand nowadays.
What does everyone think? the 1.9TDI engine is meant to be a decent one (VW I think) and the 130bhp version is meant to be fairly quick.
On that note, does anyone know how tunable the 100bhp model is? If a fair bit of power is easily obtainable on that I may consider it as with the Pug 306 TDs I know that an extra 20bhp is not unheard of with 30 mins with an allen key.
Whats everyones opinions?
