hi, as title...can my corsa b dials (mechanically driven rev counter ones) be 'clocked'?
no malicious intent...the thing is...my car didnt come with these standard so now I have put them in they are showing a far higher mileage on them (from car they came out of) than my car has actually done so just wondering if it can be done
no probs if you would rather u2u than post here
cheers

Not naughty at all
and personally id take both sets of clocks apart and put your speedo head into the rev counter housing if they are the smae size!

*cough* drill *cough*
shouldnt be done at all really - just keep a note (mot certifcate) of the old clock milage and when you come to sell it explain why there is such high milage

of course u can and should do it
there is nothing wrong with it at all, its not illegal in any sence to clock a car UNLESS its to alter the mileage from its true figure AND you plan to make money from it or do not tell the new owner when selling it
