looking at getting one for xmas, cant decide over the 1GB shuffle or any of the nanos

shuffle would be better, less fragile etc but then the nano is very smart
whats your thoughts and reccomendations

dnt get shuffle waste of time, get the 4 0r 6 gb nano much better

I would say get an ipod nano and one of the skins to stop it from scratching. I have an ipod mini and don't know how I lived without it now. The shuffles are infuriating because they don't have a screen so you can't select the music you want to listen to as easily

Which is the point of them.

edit- My iPod was the best thing I've bought for a while. I love it. I got the 30gb Video, though.

cheers, seen some good skins/cases so looks like a nano is on the list 4 santa
