Anyone have any info on what happens if u declare yourself bankrupt?

How long til do you stay bankrupt for?
Will it affect getting mortgage later in life?
And do your debts dissapear or do you still have to pay them at some point?

If you declare yourself bankrupt you don't owe anything back ever i don't think but it makes getting finance pretty much impossible so may affect you getting a mortgage.

Most of my debts are from before i went inside. Credit cards, overdrafts and unpaid car finance.

I could sell crack to kids outside schools.

Joe only know of this as one of my old bosses has done this (she has a nice ass by the way), anyway I think you can clear something like up to 75% of your debt straight away, and someone is appointed your 'supervisor' who you pay directly and this supervisor distributes your payments.

Works out better and cheaper than bankruptcy in my opinion.

About 80% of my monthly wages go on debt alone presently, this is excluding paying anything rent-wise, food or petrol!

It's manageable though, and by 2010 I hope to have saved a sizeable sum of money whilst paid off my debts then it's goodbye shitty life in England and hello fantastic life back home (Australia)!
