I strongly advise you make everything your own, that's where the serious money is, why not set a business up as a tradesman, set sub-contractors on to do the work, give them a price and you make profit on their work? ie... building site decorators, tilers, plumbers etc...

set up in something you know a decent amount about or have experience in, otherwise your going to have trouble learning it all whilst running the business!

I think electrics have a huge mark up....though i could be wrong.

whatever you do, dont do anything remote control based. Our mark up is poo. we have to turn over a massive amount of stock to make a decent profit

electrics is good, but you really need to buy in bulk to have any chance against the major players. Same goes for DVD's/CD's, etc but there is a better chance with these, but finding a decent supplier is hard!

Someone should open up one of these badboys in MK shopping centre. We have one but its by the train station, which is miles away from anything shopping related.

Money to be made!
