Thinking about getting a retrim. I don't think i want to change the colour or anything (black), just refresh it all.

I recently changed the windows from manual to electric so i have 2 big dirty holes in the front door cards which need getting rid of, and then there would only be the quarter panels and the roof liner? The roof liner is the crappy standard colour they all/most are. Should i get thim retrimmed in black aswell??

Last question anyone know who could do this around the leeds/west yorkshire area and a rough price on how much it would cost??

Thnaks, Mark

check my garage for pics of my retrim in black and grey alcantara which is more cloth like than leather i spose!

if you strip the interior yourself you will save a hell of a lot of money espcially with the roof lining as the WHOLE interior has to come out pretty much to get it out, and if your doing the headlining then you gotta do the pillars and that otherwise it might look silly!

all together my WHOLE retrim cost about 3k but thats 45quid a metre alcantara and thats for everything, dash cards, seats pillars boot panels, mats, and install!

Sorry but i disagree.

I have seen the quality of your retrim / leather upclose at shows. I was not overly impressed.

Your leather was imported from China / singapore and you can tell the quality difference just by looking at it between mine, sams or ashleys! I admit you cannot go wrong for the £500 you paid, however the qualtity is nothing compare to ours...

i would agree with painz here, there are very big differences between grades of leather and for 500quid you wont have had the higher grade that some others have had, but TBH for 500 you cant really go wrong and it still looks ace and a great bargain!

3k urs cost fear!!!! EEK! Looks sweet though

Forgot to add the pillars, i would make sure i retrim all the necessary.

I really like yours fear looks sweet! It is gorgous... maybe what i'm looking for... I didn't see any pics in ur garage of the roof liner or rear panels (unless i wasn't looking properly). Do you have ay you could show me please?

I like yours Nova, but abit too blue for what i'm looking for loving this alcantara though! How much did yours cost?
I would like to see a sample of that anyone know where i could get one?

Like i say for now i might do all the panels and roof liner etc... Then later on do the seats but in 2 colours like alot of you have done.

Painz and Fear....

yeah i agree what u r saying, i know the quality is lot better paying more. but i think the price of 3k puts alot of people off. not saying its no good for the money, its amazing. but for £500 quid u cant go wrong can ya really.....

YeH hopefully mine wont come anywhere near to 2.5k as i'm not having all the seats done (which r propably the hardest) and the boot etc. Plus i can't afford that!

All your retrims look fooking excellent though and look really well done.

I dont think spending that much money on an interior is that bad. People spend 1000's on modding the exterior of there car when its only other people that look at it. When driving the car its the interior that is what u see. So y not make it really nice in there.

different things to different people i say!

i prefer to spend the money and do it exactly the way and to the standard i like!

i aint got no problem with people who dont as its up to them!

it did get a hell of alot more done for my 3k than others have for 500 thats all im gonna say!
