Are different sizes available?

The reason i ask is i've put them on the car and the disk won't turn as it is touching the actuall caliper on the outside as you look at it.

Before i put them on though i placed the disk inside the caliper and it seemed to fit well...

Disks are 256mm x 24mm

But not sure how to measure the calipers?

could it be that theres pressure in the calipers which is pushing the pistons against the disk?

there's loads of room between the pads for the disk too fit in, there seems too be no pressure, just had some 256x20mm disks delivered though so ill put them and and see!

them disks aint gonna work right... you will have loads of pedal travel.....

is the disk rubbing the outside of the caliper?

yes it is rubbing on the outside...

why would they travel if they turn out to be astra calipers that use 256mmx20 disks?

cos in effect your increasing the distance the pad will have to travel before it reaches the disk if you get me..?

my bet is on either the hub not being corectly made/altered or they are no pressed into your wheel barings corectly...

the hubs are fine, on fine etc, driveshaft is all the way in into the gearbox.

As willay said could be the pressure, ill bleed them tomorrow, and see if they release if the disk still doesnt fit into the caliper properly, then i would assume i have astra calipers!

Were they made out of od big block hubs? i.e. machined or were the specific ones supplied by M Tec... If they were machined than they probably haven't been machined properly. Myke had this problem.
