Got some smoked headlights and I think I need these in them?

How do they come off? Ive tried pullin on them, but its still connected to something,

not sure, but i dont think you have to use them, i think they are adjusted by a screw like older cars.

i think most people leave the electronic adjuster on there old lights, could be wrong though

they pull out. feels like theyre gonna snap, but they do pull off. twist the housing and then you will just have the white plastic arm connecting them to the light with a ball joint. pull this.

do you have to fit this , or is it only if you want to use the adjuster in the car
