as evryone seems to suddenly think George BEst is...lets discuss in a seperate thread, so I do not have to keep spamming the George Best threads, of which there are now quite a few
anyway, name top 5
1. Pele
2. Van Basten
3. Bobby Bobby Moore
4. Eusebio
5. Stanley Matthews ( I think he was awesome, though because of the era he played football in, obviously didnt get the recognition that the likes of Pele did)

1. Pele - Legend, no other words!
2. Johann Cruyff, Awesome
3. Maradona, PAINS me to say that!
4. Johann Neeskens, Pure Genius - always played in the shadow of Cruyff
5. Gerd Muller, scoring record is 2nd to none! Something like 68 goals in 62 games + 14 in a WC or something ridiculous!
Special mention to Eusebio, Paulo Rossi, Michel Platini and Thierry Henry
