Essentially he WAS good at football along time ago.

Now hes a sad mess of a man whos life is controlled by an addiction to a drug.

Sad. But hes done well to last this long if you ask me.

he ruined his body and is now paying the price

Dont see why everyone is acting "suprised"

Sad but cest la vie

I think you'll find people say he is a mug due to him drinking and getting himself into the state that he did then once told that if he carried on it would kill him.
He was then given a liver but allegedly carried on drinking after he came out of hospital and now he has deteriorated even more.

Fair enough he was great in his day but he brought this upon himself and even went against medical advice when he was told he was effectively killing himself.

I feel sorry for his family and everything but you cant deny the facts

for once, I agree with you.

Anyone that abuses something that someone has given you (especially a kidney!) deserves everything they get.

He is a mug because he had a second chance and waisted it. I am sure the people who donated a loved ones liver to him are really glad they did imo he never deserved a second chance. Someone else could have benefitted from that, and got a second chance in life that was appreciated.

Find it ashtonishing that with all the dangers in the world today, people still manage to fuck themselves up on their own, by their choice.

Surely you'd want to choose life after you've had a new liver and been through it all. To start drinking again is suicide, alcoholic or not, he deserves to die.

I will have them. I can pickle them and have them as a snack over the christmas period....although they will already be pickled

we could have Liver pickled in Guiness
Kidney pickled in whiskey
stomach filled with an irish cream liquor..( bit like those chocolate ones but in a stomach)

Because that would make you "uncool" or "boring"

Peer pressure is something u should get over in school. Bowing to peer pressure older than the age of 18 is just pathetic.

Its your life its what you make of it
