hahaha Nice!
Basically the situation i'm in i have to take whatever is available,
Swapped my corsa for the pug as the corsa was depressingly slow, Now i've got a faster car but i think its fucked, got an oil leak and the turbo seems none existant, used to feel it come in but now you don't.
Got a relation at a garage and hes on the look out for something for me, and one of these is getting traded in.
Same engine, (hopefully not fucked though) cheap insurance and good mpg.

get a 1.6 16v megane, and chip it and put on an induction kit - they push out 110bhp standard, on a 1020kg car.. they're not the quickest, but arent bad.. i'll get you some pics of mine mate.. (its an alize - facelift)
safe as houses as well, the single airbag verion got 4 stars in the crash test - was one of the first to get that (maximum for the time)

Nice cars to drive, IMO. The one I've driven is a Y reg. RXE trim level is a bonus too, should have climate control etc.

lol, i see what you mean, Im going to end up in the same boat really.
The TD isnt bad at all, good mpg as you say. RXE should have at least air con etc anyway - most off them have a good few extras.
Very smooth cars as well (no matter what engine). Relatively easy to modify as well
