Was watching the news & there was a report about holiday insurance & how it is becoming "unaffordable" for pensioners/the elderly.
Lets get one thing straight, insurance is all about risk. The higher risk you are, the higher the costs will be.
So even though they are more likely to claim due to being frail/already ill/in need of medical treatment etc they were trying to say that they deserve lower rates because at their age that kind of money is too much for them to pay out.
Its a differant story when it comes to car insurance for young drivers isn't it?

Yes i hate that, and i hate the fact that young drivers have high insurance well most the time its old people causing accidents and need to re sit their test

It was actually a statement
One that isn't true imo
The point isn't that old people are worse drivers, its that they are more likely to claim & so their policies cost more.
Why do they deserve a news team trying to argue it out for them? Its bullshit.

Well each to their own opinion aint it, but i dont agree how young people have to pay over £1000 and then old people pay less
same as i dont agree on the holiday insurance either
