hey...

I've tried searching for this but not come up with much really

... I've found a cheap full second dash for my 206 and was thinking of smoothing it and getting it painted.

... this would be a project over winter. do you think it's too much for an amateur or should i just jump in feet first and try it?

... any help with what i need to use and in waht order would be much appreciated?

TBH iev only ever seen 1 dash thats been done 100% perfect, and im pretty sure the guy that did it said he would never do one again

I cant remember if a 206 dash has the orange peel effect im assuming thats what u wanna smoooth?

I think it could be done but you'd need about £75s worth of high build primer to layer it all up

My mate has not done anything like this before but took his dash out using the haynes manual, used a small compresser and tin of filler primer, had it smooth in a day and handed it over to the bodyshop to spray for £30, looks spot on

i'm thinking it's gonna take me a few months ... not a day!! ... want to het it as good as i can really

think i'll start with a small piece of dash then get more confident and move onto larger areas of the dash
