OK, ready to open a can of worms....

I know the XE has more power, and is prolly quicker, but how much difference is there between these two cars? Anybody driven both? What handles better?

driven a corsa C 1.8sri, nippy but not in the same leage power wise as a xe corsa

C is nicer to drive, ffels more solid and is a better car overall though

my corsa beats a 1.8 C, and i've also driven one, nice and comfy, but not anything amazing really, think vauxhall coulda done better

XE corsa is by far the quicker
1.8 C is more refined and less sporty really

but 1.6 B wins overall

standard C 1.8
or standard B 1.6?

the C wins no question, hanldes better, more torque, nicer clunk on the doors

but.... the 1.6 is more tuneable and more stuff is available at the moment

i got beaten a few times with my standard 1.6 vs a sri 1.8

with the mantzel it was very close

with throttle bodies i just play with them a bit then leave them easily.

nice car, dont get me wrong, but its not a special as it shoulda been

its more a poser car than what an SRi used to be compared to the rest of the ranges

the only corsa c ive been in/ driven was a 2003 plate 1.2 sxi.

i was so dissapointed, my 10 year old gsi is built so much better, ( i admit its practically a new car as it has been totally re-built) but the build quality of the corsa c is shocking

agreed, corsa C feel crap compared to the B
