Hi there
Very new to this scene.. im a major veedub head.

I have (for a couple of weeks untill it gets traded in) a 1.4 8v Mk4 polo, but it had its MOt the other day and, lots of things started to go wrong, so i decided it was time to get something new;

I bought a red sxi 1.2L from lloydsbank cars4staff:

3years old, 12K on the clock, Air Con, 4 Disc Changer, Very Very mint condition i couldnt let it slip.

Ill be perfectly honest with everyone, i wasnt out looking for a vauxhall, went out looking for a fiesta, or a new polo but for 6K i was looking at 1L standard things.. with nothing special on them.
All hopes failed walking back i spotted it.

I say this, with NO intention to offend; but the whole owning a corsa and the whole stereotypical image of a corsa owner. Orginally i would have put me off.

But once i got inside, sat in it, i thought it was a wonderful lil car. Marked up a £5400, with everything on it and the millage it had done, fantasic.

So i stripped the red rocket bare, back to standard. Lil' emotional..
y'know the usual deal, the ice and i couldnt believe i had so much cable in it.
The amount of cds i had in every pocket too !

Im 20 M, Birmingham, IT techician, list to: emo/poppunk: play a whole load of video games..


So just a Hi ! already i've found this forum very neat, polite and so helpful with the great FAQ's.

i cant get to photobucket at work, but if you guys like ill up some photos later when i get home.

i would have liked to, but i like the sxi, it were in black would have been great but i needed something new.

my Mk4 polol, was becoming a right bag of nails and the insurance was silly,
my dads pulling out a new policy, with me named, for about £600, for 6 months, when im 21 the price drops ridiciously to about £700-800, where as the polo was about £1400

Not looking to do anything major with the corsa, im one for Vynil stickers tho lol.. so you'll have to see that (only small ones in windows, record labels and things)
only the stereo in the long rung, i love installing them
I had 2amps, 1 sub, 1 set of comps, 1 set of 69s

in the corsa i would have so much better quality now that i know more about what im doing.. since the polo was my first install i did it in stages, and it was really crap. I've done quite a few and getting quiet good at it

1.2 16v..
isnt the fastest thing on the planet, and i did have this guy "brian" in the back from the garage who was there and the only one with "damage insurance", my dad in passenger (6'7") me driving (6'5")

so i knew it wasn't going to go anywhere fast

but with me and the lightweight missurs in it, it'll go Zim Zim !

ohh those crunchy nut cornflakes are like crack... i gave up a long while ago.

Kellogs Frosted wheats, every other cereal kinda blows; just cant stand up to kellogs
