Took it down to the local weighbridge, put it on and asked how accurate it was just to stop any non belivers. Was told its calibrated within 10KG (the usally weight skips etc)
Also the car was weighed with out me, no spare and fuel was on the red, evreything else was as per normal

go to any local business with one, you should get it for free, as its not as if your weighing your lorry, its just a 5minute job to weigh your car
theres usually a public one, sometimes at the harbour or go to a maltings
also some farmers have them
