Which is the best 'cheap' model to go for???

http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/cars_search.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=NISSAN&model=SKYLINE&min_pr=75&max_pr=5000&mileage=&agerange=&postcode=ch42+9jr&miles=1500&max_records=200&source=0&photo=1&sort=4&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH

What about the 2 top black ones? Or the blue top one??

Are they quick like? Scooby quick or slower?

unfortunatly a v spec aint gonna all that cheap the r32 i was in last night was 260BHP... done nice donuts and at €6000(£4200ish) straight off the jap boat seems good to me...

tbh if you need more power than that you have an illness

edit: xe corsa quick? er... not a chance it would hang dry a quater one! with ease

no ive no idea, just think the single turbo ones aint all that fast really for what they are.

corsa was a boggo xe engine and still is

the above is my opinion, it isnt fact, and yes i know the 1/4 isnt everything

a R33 GTSt is cheap as chips, but pretty docile when standard.

A few select mods will see it over 300bhp fairly easy though, and i'll be no slouch.

Standard boost control makes it feel 'slow'

Two stage boost, below 5000rpm is something like 7psi (0.5bar), rising to 0.8bar above 5k rpm.

Good car for the money, bit skitty in the wet but quite good handling with 4wheel steering etc

it'll be the same speed (faster above 80 or so) as a corsa with c20xe

R33 GTSt that is... 2.5 single turbo (rb25det) with 250bhp standard

the 32 GTS may be a 2.0 turbo.

mine was a 95 R33 GTSt

Rising Sun FMIC
Kakimoto Exhaust, de-cat
R32 GTR Clutch
R34 GTR fuel pump
Nismo Pressure reg
Blitz DSBC-S
R33 GTR Grill
R33 GTR spoiler
Aero skirts and rear spats
R33 GTR Dials

The arent that expensive to go wrong.... AFM's and coil packs can be niggly though.

I had a wee prob, replaced all coils with 2nd hand ones, tested mine as good and sold them on for a profit (120quid for 6 coils)

I was 900+ to insure mine fully comp with adrian flux
I was quoted 850 for the STi typeR, which is worth a lot more, and is newer.
