Anyone have any recommended insurers for these, just got a quote of £1076 fully comp.. age 23 no NCB, didnt find it that bad

S13? they're only group 16 insurance, the S14 is a bit higher i think

i got a quote of 970 or something on both the s14 and s13 at 20 with 2yrs ncb!
thats avec flux tpft in a bradford postcode

S14a is a great car! I loved mine but it tried to kill me far too many times so it had to go!

Seriously tho, it was scary! The last straw was on the way back from a mapping session running about 22psi boost. Doing about 90mph in 4th following an E46 M3 on the M56 in drizzle. Traffic cleared and the M3 went for it, so I followed........little bit of lag followed by a serious amount of boost and the back end stepped completely out ina straight line.
Never drove it again after that!

There's a lesson to be learnt there - no boost in the rain! Oh, and what tyres were on it? Please don't say Wanli's or Nankang

Haha, no but I did run it on Nankangs for a while.........they were ok while it was standard really. Was on Dunlop SP Sports (IIRC)
