Fee posting for Edam

quote:
The Subaru Impreza Spec-C is the closest you can get to a Group N rally car for the road. Produced by Subaru since the introduction of the Newage model in 2001, and still available to today with the current 2006 bodystyle, it is perhaps the ultimate Subaru for the hardcore driver.

Essentially a lightweight stripped out road car, the Spec-C has a number of modification over both the standard UK STi and the Japanese market STi.

Major differences in specification include a twin scroll turbo, equal length headers (the Subaru Impreza loses its characteristic flat four burble), reprofiled cams, higher rev limit.

Further changes over the JDM car include a 12 litre water tank for the intercooler spray, a gearbox cooler, lightweight glass, stiffer roll bars, a roof vent, and the removal of the air-con and electric windows/mirrors.

Spec C Impreza Japanese Market Model

Special factory built to order lightweight WRC inspired version of the STI with the design of improved body strength, lighter body & competition parts.

Customer interest in the spec C has always been great but the lack in air conditioning in previous models would often result in purchase of the standard vehicle as the engine, suspension, gearbox & brakes were almost the same. However Subaru realised this & now offer the spec C with Air Conditioning so we predict the spec C to be the top selling 06 STI model. However please note in keeping with the lightweight nature of the spec C HID lamps are not fitted or an option for the spec C.

Special equipment for the spec C includes

Ball Bearing Twin Scroll Turbo
Revolving Chamber Attach Fuel Pump
Alloy Boot Lid
Air Cooled System Motor Oil Cooler
Smaller 50l Fuel Tank
Roof Ventilator
Rear Cross Bar
1645kg Weight
12l I/C Spray Tank

Japanese Market Spec C Price
WRX STI Spec C SLH £27,995.00
WRX STI Spec C ULH (BBS Wheels) £28,995.00

Ak you`ll need a boost controller if you are going to decat tbh.

Do you ever get much activity on the knocklink? Might be worth going for that apexi tbh. So many Sti`s dying of det these days.
