shouldnt be as bad to be honest as the boost comes on in proportion not like a turbo so fuelling should be better also wont be running high boost and prob just done with 2 head gaskets so if anything is going to go thats it lol

Dont know what the hell went on with the car though!
Been told it was a 1.4SRI
GMC say they got the car and it was a 1.2LS and they fitted a sport interior to it and a dash out a SRI so it was black and not the grey one

Yeah GMC got the car in as a black 1.2 and done everything to the interior and fitted the ASTRA engine not the gsi engine as Kenzi told me.
V5 says 1.4SRI even though its not an SRI and never had a 1.4 engine in it

maybe time to contact DVLA and just ask a few questions.

Theres also a website that tells you when you put the reg in what the car is, cannae mind url though.

DVLA will have it down as a 1.4 though since its on the v5

If I called them would they be able to tell me if it has been changed at all?

i would think so, they will have all the details if engine has been changed etc on the V5.. your the owner they should give them to you.

not bothered... i would be.. possibly a ringer :-)

was a 1.2 now registered as an SRI, when the dvla change it the car still keeps the model type its the engine capacity that changes. so would be a 1598cc LS

and its coming back as an SRI, what does the v5 say?
