To cut a long story short my bro was at the back of a queue of traffic on his bike and some silly bint ran straight into the back of him, destroying the bike and sending him flying across into oncoming traffic. The police attended the scene.
He got a letter yesterday saying that they are prosecuting HIM for driving without due care and attention and that he should seek legal advice.
what the hell are they playing at

if he got hit from behind whilst in a queue of traffic is obviously the other party to blame.
Although i do think bikers are cocks, weaving in and out of everywhere. Maybe they have witnesses seeing him weaving about like a prat

aslong as he gets a decent solicitor he should have no trouble getting away with it, especially as you have a witness who would of spoken to the police at the time. Any witness they have now probably didnt speak to the police so wont be as credable.

Get him to contact the local Police station and explain the situation, they keep all these things on record, including witness statements should be fine and get away with it.
My mates bro got hit by a car whilst crossing the roads, she then tried taking him to court. But he did the above and the statements rang true so ended up sueing her and winning

I drive lots and bike lots so what else can i add, it come down to the fact that car drivers get pissed with sitting in traffic when bikers can just filter through.
