You need dampers. If your hydraulic kit ditches the dampers (most don't though) then you can't pass.

mine don't have dampers and its fine for mot's??? i've never seen hydro's on a car(excludin big 4x4's) that retain or renew dampers.

Oh, I thought that the dampers were integrated into the struts or rams or whater they are called... Never mind. Technically you need dampers to pass an MOT though...

the rams themselves have a slight amount of damping anyway, not very much though. hurts your teeth i can tell you lol.

mate had air ride n his 1.6 sport an he said when its right down its jus like a 60 mm drop on spring an shocks an its all sound

it was only super harsh till the coilsprings in the boot softened up. now it rides smoother than my mates car on coilovers. still bumpy though
